Welcome to the Home Page of the North Carolina Nu Chapter

 

NC Nu, founded on Feb 20, 1931 at Duke University, was the 131th chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.

 

There are 1,675 total known initiates. The chapter was closed in January 2002 after violations of fraternity and university rules.

 

SAE will return to Duke (see news here) in the spring of 2009 as a Colony. Be sure to join our newsletter distribution list by sending an email to here.

 Brothers held a reunion to celebrate the 75th Anniversary and Founding of the NC Nu Chapter during Homecoming Weekend, Sept 29 - 30, 2006. Learn more here.

 

 Chapter Education Fund Formed at SAE Foundation 

The SAE Foundation and the NC Nu Alumni Association have estabished a chapter education fund (CEF) in honor of  Frank Bassett.
